Hello everyone! I am not sure how many of you guys even remember me.. or if any of my friends are still active here. It has been a long time since I logged into this account. I did so for the first time a few days ago (=
A lot of things has taken place since I was last active here. My children have grown up so much and I am so proud to watch them turn into the mini adults they are turning into. Rob and I are still together and happier than we have ever been before.
A huge change in my life is that I finally graduated college and earned the title RN,BSN!!!!! I now work on a unit with mothers and their newborns!!! A dream job for me! I get to share one of the biggest life-changing events in others' lives and help them adjust to it properly (and safely).
I forgot how to use the emoji system here, so no running hugs or hearts just yet lol. However, I want to tell you guys that I did think of this site often and wonder how some of you were doing and got to share some things on fb with a few of you!
Hopefully soon, I will be able to share some of my experiences with you soon. I have to fire up the old desktop and dust of photoshop though /: . In the meantime, I will just sit back and enjoy what you have shared with me!

Let's Be Still- A Tribute
Today, it was officially confirmed that one of our dear friends here on DA has passed. @nat1874 has been a dear friend of mine since the very beginning of my journey here. We learned photography together and we learned to love different parts of the world together through each others lenses. We quickly became friends outside of DA like I did with so many of you. DeviantArt has been an amazing place to make family outside of family. Nathan and I recently reconnected in September of last year and were able to finally video chat in January! It was the very first time we had ever been able to place a face to each other! He has been working on more photography and even had been DJ'ing! Please, take a moment and go check out his work. He traveled to Texas years ago, we shared a HUGE love for the UT Longhorns, so he made sure to get some pics of the stadium and go to a game! So I left dA to complete my studies and spend time with my family. Not many know but my camera isn't working properly so I haven't been shooting in months. I decided to come back to this little community in dA because this is the main site where I see so many other artists supporting each other. Many of you have come and gone, come back and left again.. you know the whole 'this isn't the scene for me' deal. As for me, I am still pursing my BSN. There has been some ups and downs, but more ups than downs so that's good.. just as long as I don't get dizzy ^^

Its been awhile
So much has changed since I last came on. For those of you following me through fb, you may have heard of these changes. For one, my camera is no longer in use. It has not been working properly and I don't have time to bring it in. Another is, I have changed my major from DMS (sonographer) to BNS (registered nurse). It is taking more time to do, however, I know in the end I will love doing what I do. Currently I am taking a few courses along with Physics and Anatomy & Physiology II. After this semester I will proceed to take the prerequisite courses to apply for my program.
