Let's Be Still- A Tribute
Today, it was officially confirmed that one of our dear friends here on DA has passed. @nat1874 has been a dear friend of mine since the very beginning of my journey here. We learned photography together and we learned to love different parts of the world together through each others lenses. We quickly became friends outside of DA like I did with so many of you. DeviantArt has been an amazing place to make family outside of family. Nathan and I recently reconnected in September of last year and were able to finally video chat in January! It was the very first time we had ever been able to place a face to each other! He has been working on more photography and even had been DJ'ing! Please, take a moment and go check out his work. He traveled to Texas years ago, we shared a HUGE love for the UT Longhorns, so he made sure to get some pics of the stadium and go to a game! We recently were able to watch the last few Longhorn games together (yay for technology) and he has been loving life. The photo below was one I took years ago and dedicated to him because he made me fall in love with castles and cathedrals. When I travel abroad, I plan on visiting some of the ones he would send me. We are never promised our next breath, so please, live each moment with love, wonder, passion, and the ability to see the beauty around you. You guys have been like another family to me.. especially the ones I started and grew with.

It's Been A Journey
A lot of things has taken place since I was last active here. My children have grown up so much and I am so proud to watch them turn into the mini adults they are turning into. Rob and I are still together and happier than we have ever been before.
A huge change in my life is that I finally graduated college and earned the title RN,BSN!!!!! I now work on a unit with mothers and their newborns!!! A dream job for me! I get to share one of the biggest life-changing events in others' lives and help them adjust to it properly (and safely).
I forgot how to use the emoji system here, so no running hugs or hearts just yet lol. However, I want to tell you guys that I did think of this site often and wonder how some of you were doing and got to share some things on fb with a few of you!
Hopefully soon, I will be able to share some of my experiences with you soon. I have to fire up the old desktop and dust of photoshop though /: . In the meantime, I will just sit back and enjoy what you have shared with me!

As for me, I am still pursing my BSN. There has been some ups and downs, but more ups than downs so that's good.. just as long as I don't get dizzy ^^
I enjoy getting on every now and again to see what everyone has been up too and what new works you share. Forgive me if I don't comment often though.
Its been a little hard on me and I haven't really talked about it much.. I try to be strong and some days (like today) its been rough. Anyways, I usually end my journals with a song that I am listening too and they are usually upbeat happy songs, but this one I'm going to end with one that I dedicate to my husband Robert.. I miss you baby.. you have me talking to the moon....

Its been awhile
Anywho, I do miss so many of you on here and think of yall often. Especially as I take my kids to school each morning and watch the beautiful sunrise over the water (we all love their new school!!)
